This is my little cat. Her name is Ponkey. I bought her 6 years ago from a pet shop for 2 USDollars. I usually never go into pet shops - they make me sad. However, on this particular day, I found drawn into the store, and found my little friend. She was so very tiny (smaller than my hand) She has been my companion and friend ever since.
My heart goes out to the animals involved in the Christchurch, New Zealand earthquakes. Having endured over 8000 quakes since September 2010, many of these animals have gotten lost and found themselves at the SPCA in Canterbury. I am offering that with each pet portrait created, 50% of the sale price will be donated to their well being.
